Reiki Sound Sessions

Reiki is divinely guided life force energy. A reiki session feels wonderfully relaxing as carefully directed streams of divine energy dance throughout your body, clearing away stuck, heavy energies and rejuvenating those areas with life.

Sound is not only vibration, it is also the primordial essence of the universe. It is the waves which pulse from the Source of all things, ever-breathing, ever-expanding, and ever-receding back unto itself once again. It is the ripples which stretch through the fabric of our reality, and since sound can be felt and experienced in a tangible way, these waves help move energy very palpably throughout our bodies.

Combining reiki and sound gives a sense of heaven and earth, the divine spiritual energy of reiki coupled with the more grounded, deeply felt and sensed energy of physical manifestation.

Group Reiki Sound Baths

My group sound bath offerings are intimate gatherings of up to 9 people. Smaller group sizes allow the sound experience to be much more immersive and allows me to walk around with my instruments and personalize the sessions for my clients.

I offer different types of reiki sound sessions that are designed to move energy in different ways.

  • Sound profile: Harmonious, chakra-based

    Length/price: 1.5-2 hours; $55

    My octave sessions feature a full major octave of bowls, accent instruments such as chimes, Himalayan bowls, and handle bowls, as well as a foundation of ambient background music that I write myself, designed to provide a steady fundamental and ambiance. In these sessions we partner with the downward flowing energetic current (the Current of Manifestation) and the chakra system, resting awareness in each of these energy centers and inviting cleansing, receiving and release. These sessions are very beautiful, harmonious, and peaceful, and are well-suited for any experience level.

  • Sound profile: Powerful journey, deep to Light

    Length/price: 1.5-2 hours; $55

    My flow sessions feature a cascade of sound healing instruments combined with a shifting ambient background track that I compose myself. These sessions partner with the upward flowing energy current (the Current of Liberation) and are all about alchemizing energy from dense to Light. We journey from the deep and powerful vibrations of shamanic drum, gong, and Himalayan bowls, to the more ethereal frequencies of crystal quartz singing bowls, chimes, and tuning forks, with the intention of realigning with our highest, most authentic Selves. These are very powerful and immersive sound healing sessions. It is recommended that you have some experience with sound baths, though an openness and desire to dive deep into varying sound textures is welcome as well.

  • Sound profile: Complex sounds and textures, monthly theme

    Length/price: 3 hours; $75

    My elemental journey sessions are designed for those who are ready to dive deep into themselves, into their relationship with the Cosmos, and into the sound experience. Each month features a unique elemental theme to explore. Beginning with a shamanic drum circle and forest bathing, we then spend an hour indoors in a custom-created sound bath that invites us to commune with the element's cleansing and nourishing properties, featuring complex sound combinations including binaural beat crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, chimes, gong, crystal pyramids, handle bowls, tuning forks, drum, and more. These sessions incorporate sacred herbs and resins, such as sage, frankincense, and myrrh, in ceremony to connect deeper within ourselves. Stay afterward for community vibes and fire pit.

Inner Realms Drum Journey

The benefits of group drumming are numerous, including health perks like improved focus, better sleep, less stress, overall wellbeing, as well as a sense of community, cultivating a strong relationship within oneself, and establishing a powerful connection to the Earth, to spirituality, and to All That Is.

My Inner Realms Drum Journeys honor the sacredness and radiance within each of us. These guided shamanic drum and voice circles are designed to generate a foundation of strength and Light within ourselves and within the world via various rounds of drumming, including centering, inward journeying, and healing. These sessions are a unique combination of meditation, reiki, sound healing, vocalized mantras, and visualization. They are meant to act as a source of empowerment and community, as well as a source of deep growth and healing.

These drum circle events are held outdoors if possible.

  • My drum circle events are founded on empowerment and connection - to one's Inner Self, within the community group setting, and with aspects of consciousness and spirituality.

    At these events we begin with a ceremonial smudging using organic sage and/or resins to welcome each participant, a bit of community sharing, a grounding and centering practice where we will all drum together to come into full presence, and then a drumming practice to dive deeper into the theme or intention of the circle gathering, followed by a sharing circle at the end. Group sharing is recommended in order to get to know each other on a deeper level, though it is not required.

    These events are sacred and safe spaces for all participants. I welcome absolutely everyone whose heart feels called to join this group.

  • No you do not. I have enough vegan buffalo frame drums for all my participants, however if you own a frame drum I recommend bringing it so that you may deepen your connection with your drum.

  • Yes! For vegan options I highly recommend the Remo Buffalo Drum, preferably the 16 inch or larger will give you a nice, deep bass sound. The Remo Black Earth Buffalo Drum has an even deeper, richer sound for its size.

    Animal skin drums are an excellent option as well. When choosing these items I recommend connecting with the animal spirit of the drum you are considering. Buffalo, Deer, Elk, Horse, and Bear Spirit all have their unique characteristics. See what speaks to you. Please reach out to me if you need guidance.
